Cantor

Cantor-Kohenet Shayndel Adler brings a distinctive and dynamic integration of spiritual leadership, education, musicality, and the healing arts.  Shayndel is ordained as a Cantor through the Aleph Ordination Program, and as a Kohenet (priestess of earth-honoring, feminist Jewish tradition). She has served as clergy and educator in synagogues and Jewish communities of all denominations.  Shayndel has a BA in Liberal Studies/Education and teaching credential; is a certified holistic health practitioner with a focus on sound healing and music therapy and is a singing teacher of ‘Uncovering the Voice’. In addition, she is the mother of four children and is currently working on a Master of Divinity at Iliff School of Theology.
