Learn to Read Hebrew
Learn the letters and vowel signs of the Hebrew alphabet in this ten-session course!
Through this 10-session course, you will be guided by a warm and supportive educator who will start from the very beginning, working through a few letters and vowel signs each week. We’ll utilize the textbook Aleph Isn’t Tough: An Introduction to Hebrew for Adults.
Additional Details
We’ll practice word segments, words, and, eventually, sentences. By the end of the course, you will be able to slowly sound out Hebrew blessings and prayers. While live attendance is preferred, all sessions will be recorded.

This course was created in partnership between Judaism Your Way and the Union for Reform Judaism, utilizing URJ course materials.
Location: Virtual via Zoom (link provided upon registration)
Dates: Mondays from 6:00 – 7:00 pm MT (8:00 – 9:00 pm ET), June 22, June 29, July 6, July 13, July 20, July 27, August 3, August 10, August 17, and August 24.
We offer a sliding scale with three registration options so you can select the amount that feels most appropriate for you ($250, $300, or $360). All options provide the same access to the program; your choice simply helps us keep this work sustainable and available to all.
