Judaism Your Way

Kaddish Circle

To experience loss is to be human.

Please join Rabbi Caryn Aviv for Kaddish circle where you can find community and support in your experience of mourning. Many of us are holding grief around what’s happening in Israel and Gaza as well as the increased presence of antisemitism in the world. We will continue to hold witnessing space for that grief in Kaddish Circle.

Additional Details

Jewish spirituality offers many resources and practices to support people on the mourner’s path. This virtual program is for anyone who identifies as a mourner, whether you’ve experienced a recent loss or want to honor your memory of a loved one who died years ago or are holding grief around what is happening in the world right now. In each circle meeting, we will explore one facet of Jewish mourning practices, read some poetry that touches on loss, share memories, explore our grief around general pain and anguish in the world, and say the Mourner’s Kaddish together. This ancient prayer is recited when remembering loved ones we’ve lost and helps us to connect with our grief.
