Are you interested in gathering around a Shabbat table for interesting conversation and to meet new people? Then Shabbat @home is for you!
Shabbat @home is designed to create intimate micro-communities, with like-minded folks, around participants’ Shabbat tables.

Rachel Claret has generously offered to host our April Shabbat @home gathering for wisdom-sharers (50+) and empty nesters. Enjoy a wonderful Shabbat dinner with great people and great conversation. If you have specific dietary needs, please reach out to the host after you register.

What does hosting entail? As the host, you decide what kind of potluck items you’d like guests to bring and how many folks you can comfortably accommodate. We’ll advertise your Shabbat @home dinner and collect registrations, so that you know who is coming for dinner.
Because Judaism Your Way is an inclusive community where everyone is welcome, please assume that at least half of the participants at your table might not be Jewish, might not be familiar with Shabbat blessings or with Hebrew, and might not have childhood Jewish experiences or memories to share.
We ask that hosts help participants feel comfortable by meeting people where they are with love, respect, generosity and inclusion, recognizing that there are many right ways to be and do Jewish. To learn more about our approach and practice, check out our Torah of Inclusion statement, particularly the section about participants (right before the conclusion).
